Rooted in Peranakan cuisine, laksa reflects the blending of Chinese and Malay influences that shaped Singapore's food culture. Over generations, this humble noodle soup evolved into the iconic Katong-style laksa we know today: a fragrant, coconut-based broth that is bold, spicy, and deeply comforting.


A Bowl Built on Balance

At the heart of Singapore laksa is its carefully balanced ingredient list. Rice noodles are bathed in a luxurious gravy made from:
