The OCBC Durian Party, hosted by OCBC Treasury, was an unforgettable event that had us all buzzing with excitement. Held on the enchanting evening of 25th July 2024 at the iconic Singapore Flyer, this gathering was a perfect blend of enjoyment and camaraderie, further cementing the strong ties between CYS Global Remit and the OCBC Treasury team.
Representing CYS Global Remit with pride were Chief of Staff Jesline Ng, Chief Dealer Alvin Yam, and FX Sales Dealers Jason Cheah and Te Hui Ling from the Counterparty Sales and Alliances Team. Their presence at the event highlighted our unwavering commitment to fostering collaboration and synergy with OCBC's Treasury team.
The evening was a feast for the senses, featuring a sumptuous dinner that showcased local flavours and seasonal fruits, with the star attraction being the king of fruits, the durian. The rich, creamy texture and distinctive flavours of the durians became the centrepiece of lively conversations and joyful moments among the guests.
CYS Global Remit and OCBC share a strong trading and banking relationship that has flourished for over 30 years. This enduring partnership, driven by mutual growth and collaboration, was further strengthened during the event. As the evening progressed, the CYS Team not only savoured the exquisite food but also engaged in meaningful discussions with the OCBC Team. These conversations focused on potential opportunities and exciting developments on the horizon, reinforcing the spirit of cooperation and forward-thinking that defines our partnership.
The OCBC Durian Party was more than just a celebration of a beloved fruit; it was a heartfelt occasion that deepened professional connections, strengthened bonds between colleagues, and created lasting memories.
The perfect blend of Singaporean culture and the joyous spirit of togetherness made for a truly memorable experience, leaving everyone in attendance eagerly looking forward to the next opportunity to gather and create new treasured moments.
