CYS Summer Fun 2025 Event: Sand-sational Teamwork at Sentosa!

On a breezy, pleasantly cloudy day, CYS Global Remit teams traded desks for flip-flops as we headed to Siloso Beach, Sentosa, for our highly anticipated Summer Fun Event 2025! With the sea breeze in our hair and sand between our toes, it was the perfect setting for a fun-filled day of laughter, bonding, and unforgettable beachside challenges.  

In partnership with Jambar Team Building, the event kicked off with high energy as staff were divided into five vibrant teams. Each group quickly embraced the spirit by choosing a team leader and creating a lively cheer that set the tone for the friendly competition ahead.

The beach became our playground as teams tackled seven exhilarating games designed to test coordination, creativity, teamwork, and collaboration: 

🏐 Beachball Keep Ups – Working together to keep a beachball in the air for as long as possible.  

🥏 Frisbee Golf – Aiming and precision challenge as players hurled frisbees into designated targets. 

⛺ Shelter – Two blindfolded team members built a tent based solely on verbal instructions—communication was everything!

🚑 Stretcher – Using ropes, teams carried a teammate and attempt to complete as many laps as possible. 

☕ Kopi Toss – A local twist where teams tossed water-filled kopi bags using towels—messy, fun, and surprisingly tricky!  

🏰 Sandcastle Dash – Race against the clock to build as many sandcastles as possible.  

🚩 Raise the Flag – The final challenge saw teams assemble a nearly 8-meter-tall 7-piece flagpole and carefully raise it using only strings—a true test of patience and teamwork. 

Following an energetic morning filled with friendly competition and laughter, the top three teams were celebrated as winners, with the victorious team taking home a $300 cash prize! Cheers and applause resonated across the beach, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere to conclude an unforgettable day of teamwork and fun. It was truly a fantastic way to strengthen bonds, boost morale, and create lasting memories together. 

As the sun started to peek through the clouds, everyone headed back to Beach Station, where a delicious lunch awaited at Shake Shack Sentosa. Staff enjoyed hearty burgers, crispy fries, and refreshing lemonade, perfectly wrapping up a day filled with teamwork, laughter, and great camaraderie.
