CYS AML Night 2025: A New Chapter in Commitment & Celebration

CYS Global Remit’s AML Night 2025 was a memorable evening that perfectly balanced compliance learning with festive celebration. Thoughtfully coordinated by the organising team, the event brought together professional development and enjoyable entertainment in a seamless experience.

Leadership Vision & Company Momentum

The evening opened with an inspiring Joint Keynote Speech by our Managing Director, and CEO & Deputy Managing Director. Echoing the tone set in 2025, their speech revisited key regulatory developments globally and highlights how CYS has adapted and strengthened its AML/CFT framework over the past year. Drawing on the successes and lessons learned in 2025, bold plans for 2026 was shared, including further enhancement of transaction monitoring capabilities, deeper integration of compliance into daily operations and expansion of educational programmes within the firm to raise AML awareness.

AML Training

A core highlight of AML Night was a refreshed compliance training session led by our Head of Compliance. The training sharpened our technical AML knowledge, such as transaction monitoring, customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence. A short and interactive quiz followed with amazing prizes to be won!

Honouring Loyalty and Dedication

True to our tradition, this year’s AML Night included a heartfelt segment dedicated to recognizing long-serving employees whose contributions have been instrumental in sustaining CYS’s growth. Employees hitting 5-, 10- and 20-year milestones were honoured – celebrating their loyalty, professionalism, and commitment to upholding CYS’s values. Their dedication underscores the strength of our foundation as we grow. More to be shared on our next issue of CYS insights!

This year, there was an additional piece of good news to be shared as our Chief FX Dealer was promoted to Chief Treasury Operations Officer (CTOO). Being with CYS for 8 years and rising through the ranks to being promoted to CTOO, it has been an amazing journey. Read the previous issue of our CYS insights for more details!

Culinary Delights and Festive Traditions

The festivities began with Managing Director ceremonially carving a turkey, leading into a delicious feast catered by the American Club. The menu skilfully combined Western classics with local favourites, featuring a crowd-pleasing Laksa Station where guests crafted their own flavourful bowls.

Fun Games and Exciting Lucky Draw

In addition to the training and recognitions, AML Night featured team-based games, light-hearted competitions amongst our colleagues and an exciting lucky draw. Winners of the group games walked away with cash prizes, giving them motivation to strive even harder to earn points throughout the games. After the excitement of the games, it was time for the lucky draw. With 21 winners to be announced, the buzz was electric, fostering a sense of inclusion and excitement. Each spin of the wheel brought cheers and applause, embodying the camaraderie and joy of the evening.

Most importantly, AML Night reaffirmed our shared vision: to build a culture of integrity, vigilance and collaboration. As we move into 2026, we carry forward the momentum of this night – stronger, more unified, and more committed than ever to excellence in compliance and service.
