Lloyds profits swell by nearly 50 per cent as bank boosted by interest rate rises but guidance remains unchanged

Lloyds first quarter profits rose 46 per cent as the bank became the latest UK lender to see its bottom line boosted by a hike in interest rates.

Indonesia economy likely grew 4.95% on year in Q1, contracted vs quarter

BENGALURU (Reuters) - Indonesian annual economic growth likely slowed to its weakest in more than a year in January-March and shrank on a quarterly basis as lower commodity prices hit exports and higher interest rates restricted domestic demand, a Reuters poll found.
