Our Training Programs

CYS has more than 40 different job roles spread among 11 business units in 4 function groups. It provides learning opportunities to fresh graduates or early career professionals to gain insight into the financial service industry with a touch of financial technology (FinTech). Likewise, it gives a widespread of job positions for the accomplished professionals and active seniors looking to re-enter the workforce.

Most of the training programs are conducted in-house by experienced trainers, tightly followed by short but concise on-the-job training (OJT) sessions to achieve competencies and skills needed within a short span of time. All OJTs are monitored by our experienced managers who are trained as advisors and guides to the employees. While the learning curves are steep at times, the challenges attract candidates who are competitive and achievers, saving time for all parties and get things done straight to the point.

 

CYS has successfully trained many young professionals who are able to embark on higher skills level jobs under a very short time, enabling them to hold important positions and make decisions on behalf of the company. CYS has a pool of very young managers helping the company to steer ahead and lead the way in the industry.

In CYS, we want to build a workplace that is fun, happy, and full of laughter for our employees, and we want them to have energy, enthusiasm, and passion to fulfil their job roles and responsibilities.


We take good care of our employees, provide for them, train them, and guide them during their employment with us. We provide free breakfasts, lunches, afternoon tea breaks and a confectionary counter that is full of snacks, titbits, bottled water, coffee, tea, and flavored drinks.


We meet every day in the morning for a short briefing on what’s happening in the company and to provide reminders on job guidelines, work observation, standards, and expectations. And to promote a community-style of workplace, we go the extra mile to organize group events frequently, both indoor and outdoor, just to bring cohesion among our employees to share our common values and culture. We want every of our employees to find their journey with CYS a fulfilling, satisfying and a rewarding one.


Today, CYS has a headcount of more than 50 people with different demographics and diverse background, a probity program to ensure ethically sourced and fit and proper workforce, and a conducive workplace with positive culture.

Our ESG Approaches

Despites CYS small size, we take initiatives towards our ESG approaches in managing our environmental footprint, fostering an inclusive workplace that values talents and contributions of our colleagues, and committing to good corporate governance in our policies and practices. We value and engage with our employees and local communities to play our part in our corporate social responsibility and philanthropy.


Our efforts include a digitalization campaign to go paperless in our operation, an office renovation to achieve lowering greenhouse effect, providing healthier choice and meat-free lunches for our employees, adopting company philanthropy through donating and providing volunteer opportunities, helping our employees with learning new skills or pursuing higher education, code of conduct designed to prevent bribery and corruption, performance bonuses to incentify employees to achieve higher targets, and a defined corporate structure that avoids conflicts with proper auditing procedures in place.

Team-Bonding & CSR Events

CYS conducts Team-Bonding and CSR activities to help forge a stronger bond among our employees, the company, and the communities around us. CYS wants our employees to be socially responsible to our society, our environment, and our philanthropic duties. Together with our CEO and the senior management team, CYS employees have engaged in many interesting Team-Bonding & CSR events in the past.

We walk our talk when we say we work hard, play hard, and dine in class. Our CYS events are all made up of food, food, and the glorious food! True to everyone’s heart, CYS internal events or parties have seen many international cuisine being served, from our local favorites to Mexican, German, American, and Japan.
